Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Interior Construction
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our client's dynamic team in New York. This role is ideally suited for candidates with a background in commercial interiors, particularly those with at least two years' experience working for a reputable General Contractor in New York. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of high-quality commercial interior projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. You will coordinate with subcontractors, monitor safety protocols, and assist in daily project management activities to maintain seamless workflow and successful project delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with a General Contractor on commercial interior projects in New York
- Proven ability to assist with project coordination, scheduling, and quality control
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction management software is a plus
