A highly respected construction management firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join its leadership team in support of an expanding pipeline of work.
This firm specializes are well known for delivering high-quality residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional developments. The organization is known for its collaborative culture, disciplined project delivery, and strong design and community focus.
Role Overview
The Project Executive will provide executive-level oversight across multiple projects, guiding teams from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring excellence in execution, financial performance, and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Executive
- Provide strategic leadership across multiple large-scale construction projects
- Oversee preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
- Ensure adherence to project controls, quality standards, safety, and contract compliance
- Act as a senior point of contact for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and senior project staff
- Drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams
Ideal Background of the Project Executive
- Proven experience as a Project Executive, or Senior Project Manager overseeing teams
- Strong track record delivering complex, multi-phase urban projects
- Deep understanding of construction financials, forecasting, and contract administration
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage high-level relationships
- Experience working in New York City’s construction environment is essential
